30 Quick Tips for Better Health by Don Verhulst, MD Review

My Review:
I really liked this book. I really liked the chapter about sleeping better and the chapter about letting go of anger. This is a short book that packs a punch. A good punch. After each chapter there is a prayer and a space to write down how you are going to try and change. This is a great book to keep in your purse or anywhere really to give yourself inspiration when you need it. I am giving this book a 5/5. I was given a copy to review from booketeria, however all opinions are my own.

My Review:
I really liked this book. There were so many mysteries that were sold that I never even thought about before. From the "first flood" to the pyramids and Angels were in this book. There are scriptures that the author uses to back up what he is saying. He also tells you where to find what he is using in the Bible so you can read it and interpret it as well. The Shroud of Turin was my favorite chapter, and I loved the Biblical references as well as the ones that I know from movies. It is definitely interesting to read what happened through an "autopsy". I never knew about the AB blood either. I am giving this book a 5/5. I loved it and recommend it to anyone that likes the unexplained. I was given a copy to review from Booketeria, however all opinions are my own.

Christianity Lite by Glen Berteau Review

My Review:
This was a book that had a really good message. If you are going to do something, then do it to the fullest. Do not shave off the hard parts. I enjoyed answering the "Consider This" section at the end of each chapter. I also thought that the snippets of information for each chapter really related to the main theme of that chapter. The author did a great job including the different books of the Bible and relating them to his beliefs. I was happy that the author also used analogies to describe some of the harder points of this book. My favorite was the analogy of the medicine bottle. "Shake Well Before Using". There is more to the analogy than that, but I do not want to give away a spoiler. This would be a great book for people to read after they take the Sacrament of Reconciliation. I think this because it helps them to take their faith 100% seriously. There is also information at the end that the author shares about using this book in classes and groups. I am giving this book a 3/5. I was given a copy to review from Booketeria, however all opinions are my own. The author additionally included great quotes that were uplifting. My favorite was the quote from Martin Luther King Jr.

We Too Stand by Michael A. Stevens Review

My Review:
I liked that this book was about working together and to build bridges. I like that the author refers to scripture. I was also happy that there was an index, so I can go back and look for certain things that I want to read about again. This is definitely a small book, that has a lot of information. I am giving this book a 4/5. I was given a copy to review, however all opinions are my own.
