Hello
Hi all! Happy Halloween! I know it is a bit late, but I have had a busy week! I had to put all our summer flowers into the greenhouse, plus I have been spending a lot of time with the kiddos. I did go to Target on Halloween and I got FREE tide travel, plus with the overage I got a $20 Coffee pot, on sale for $8, for $6 after coupon overage. My old coffee pot, which was red, and I loooooooved, started to throw sparks, so it was time for a new one. The last one was a gift that lasted me 5 years!

Menu Monday
My sister has vacation this week, so us three sisters will probably be together every day with the kiddos. When us three get together the husbands love it! Mostly because we clean out each others pantries and make a bunch of stuff. Tonight we had a Digiorno Pizza, potato skins and buffalo chicken(the mom's house). Sunday we had chicken in the crock pot with a pasta slow cooker packet, homemade broccoli soup(fresh broccoli, and pumpkin soup (my house)... which was all really good. Tomorrow night is yet to be determined. lol. Plus my mom made almond cookies from scratch that now our husbands want us to make this week. Hopefully we can have a freezer day. I would love to spend 1 day just making stuff to freeze.
So I will not do a menu plan this week, only because I know that it will change. lol.
There is a great deal at target right now Worth the venus razors, and there are a lot of rebates right now. We have been shopping (3 sisters, and an after the holiday sale??? lol we couldn't resist) and hopefully I will be able to post tomorrow. Happy Shopping all! (the deals are listed in the blogs I follow as well... if you wanna get a peak ).

Target trip
were all sold out. I want to go to Target again tomorrow. I really wanna stock up on the Glade.
this is what I got ;)
10 St. Ives lotion different scents $0.97 = $9.70
11 J&J Buddies $0.97 = $10.67
10 St. Ives body wash $0.99 = $9.90
5 St.Ives face scrub $0.97 $4.85
8 misc St. Ives that didn't scan, so she entered price of $0.97 = $7.76
4 Dove $0.97 each = $3.88
30 Degree men's n women's asst varieties $0.97 each = $29.10
16 reach floss $1.12 = $17.92 (shelf was marked $1.02) :(
38 Purina cat food treats $1 each = $38
30 20ct Kotez thins $1.02 each = $30.60
19 Rayovak $1 each = $19
1 Book $1
1 Wilton cookie decorating/swap book $9.49
$203.38 with tax
Qs used
19 $1/1 Rayovak = FREE
14 $1.25/1 Degree = $3.92MM
2 $1.50/2 Dove = 4/$0.88 orr $0.22 each
15 $2/2 Kotex = 30/$0.60 or $0.02 each
19 $2/2 Purina = FREE!
19 $0.99/1 St Ives
15 $0.95/1 St Ives ... So the cashier made me loss $0.02 per Q...
St Ives was $32.21 less $33.06 in Qs = $0.85 MM
11 $1/1 J&J = $0.33 MM
16 $1/1 Reach 16/$1.92 or $0.12 eachs $0.10 credit
reused 2 bag
total OOP $5.52 with tax :)
receipt says I saved $357.38
I have to te realize that you never know what the cashiers will do at Target. She let the $1.25 Q go thru to give me $0.2 profit each, but stopped the St. Ives Q for $1 when the item is $0.99
So I tend to get something I WANT for around $10 to take care of overage, and If they do no overage, then I will just put the item back, because I don't NEED it ;)

The cashier stopped here, suspended the order and then recalled it. She told me that the product was less than the Q and Target could not sell me the Toothbrushes??? I called over the same manager from before, and asked him if that was true. He said no. We need to adjust the Q. I said oh ok, I didn't think that they would turn away sales. So the Cashier said we can't do that. the amount doesn't match, and she couldn't override the Q amount. At this point I was curious as to why the cashier was telling the manager how to do his job. However he was getting quite upset with the cashier. He told her to override it a dew times, and she kept arguing with him. Then she Brought up the $1.25 Degree Q on the Degree that was $0.97. And she continued to argue that all my Qs were wrong. I said, I bought all the stuff, that's not fair to say. Then she tried the trial size argument and I said, the coupons blatantly do not say a size. Finally the manager said, did you try to scan it? and the cashier said no, because the amount is too high. I said I have 6 Toothbrushes, so just scan 3 $2 Qs, that's fine with me. The Manager scanned the Q, and it came up red, and he overrode it. The cashier started to tell him he was wrong, but he finally had enough and said "that's enough I told you to do it, so do it and take care of the customer that you made wait so long". yet again the Cashier argued with him and said you just gave her $2 on a $0.97 item". He said "I know, and I am telling you to take care of the Customer". The cashier started banging the counter as he walked away. She scanned the other 5 $2/1 Reach TB, and kept mumbling to herself. then she continued to scan: ( Every Item she scanned I showed her that I had it, and read the Q's to make sure they were valid, and she just kept mumbling)
4 $1.25/1 Axe
4 $1.50/1 Axe
2 $1/1 Dove
1 $1/1 Edge
8 $1/1 Reach floss, and this 1 beeped too, so I said these were in the regular aisle and they are $1.02, they should not be beeping for any reason. She said " you got $2 off a 97 cent item 6 times. what do you care, you should be happy with whatever you get". So definitely after that I showed that I had the correct corresponding items. Just to prove the point that she was being rude. She then continued to scan:
1 $5/1 Phys Form
4 $1/1 Bounty (couldn't find Target Qs, P&G $1 Q was in P&G yr of savings book)
2 $1/1 Cottonelle
3 $1.25/1 Tums

8 $1/1 Nexcare

After I paid, I walked over to the manager and thanked him for his help. he asked if I was okay with my experience, and I told him that the cashier was extremely rude, and told him why. He apologized, and I said it's okay because you made sure that I was helped, and taken care of. He apologized again and said that He was going to talk to her later.
