Sabbatical.
Hi everyone. It has been so long since I posted that I wanted to touch base. Hubby has been keeping me busy, in and out of hospital. My brother in law was also in the hospital, who is like a brother to me. Craft fair season has also started. Creative Creations by Nana, Mommy, Auntie and Sissy have been busy every weekend, and even during the week. We were even extras in a Lifetime Christmas movie! Three 12 hour days are no joke! My favorite holiday, Halloween, is coming up. I can not wait. I also went to HorrorFest 2019! I met David Naughton, who was also in the same Christmas movie that we were extras in! I also met Gaylen Ross from Creepshow! I hope to start posting again! Thank you for sticking with me

Story Land Trip 2018
Ever since I was little my parents took me to Story Land! There are some things that I will never forget doing, like touching the North Pole, or visiting the Storybook animals and the Storybook Houses. Now I get to go with my niece and nephew and I get to share my memories and make new ones with them.
There are always Characters around to take pictures. This year we saw Tinkerbell, Daniel Tiger, Katerina, Little Red Riding Hood, Mother Goose, The Woman in the Shoe, and Peter Pan. They take their time and talk to the kids too.
This year the kids were taller so we went on more rides. My Brother in law loves fish, so of course they had to go on this ride. They got to move the head of the fish.
This is the kiddos getting ready for the Turtle Twirl to start!
There is also a water park, and splash pad. This was right before they got soaked!
This is a yearly tradition to take the raft ride. I took the raft ride with my parents when I was younger.
There are great photo ops as well. There is a bench when you first come in, and an over sized chair in The Little Dreamer's Play Area. They are all dated and great for family photos. You can also get professional pictures of yourselves from some of the rides. This year my hubby got a picture of himself on the Bamboo Chutes as a key chain for our collection.
These are the three little pigs from the Storybook!
Dunkin' Donuts!!!!! I do not need to say more!
This is a tradition with my Godchild. She drives me, and I get scared. This year I got car insurance!
Little Red Riding Hood and Peter Pan!
Daniel Tiger's Grr-ific Day!
It’s a beautiful day in Daniel Tiger’s neighborhood and you’re invited to be a part of the fun! Join Daniel Tiger and Katerina Kittycat for a show full of make believe & good feelings as we learn how to share, try new things, & use our imaginations. After every show, meet Daniel & Katerina for pictures and hugs!
It was amazing to see the kid's reactions to seeing their favorite characters in real life!
It kept me entertained as well as the kiddos.
It was also interactive, and taught the kids to try new things and not be afraid.
We had a great time and love to go. Every time we see something new. We did so many things that are not mentioned here, the Carousel, Got their Driver's License, The Bamboo Chutes, The Crazy Barn, and the Splash Battle. Which this year I stayed outside, and it was four against one! I got SOAKED! ha! Their aim is getting better! I would like to thank Story Land for the tickets for this wonderful opportunity!

Happy Belated Easter
I would like to wish my readers a belated happy Easter. Hopefully we are all off our sugar highs by now, and the kiddos are back to their non sugar filled routines. I was thinking alot about past Easters on Sunday. It would have been my parents 40th anniversary. I was thinking about how every Easter we hung eggs outside (almost). One year I bought eggs without holes in them, and my dad drilled a hole in every one we hung. About how we would go see my dad's mom, and shw had a HUGE bowl of candy. How we used to get together at my mom's parents every year and see all our great aunts and uncles. How every year my parents did an Easter egg hunt in the living room. My dad hid them so good.lol Of course there were always the same places every year, like in the lamp, on top of the curio cabinet. But my favorite was on top of my mom's seeder from her grandmother.
Then I realized when I saw my nieces and nephew playing together that we need to cretae our own special hiding places, and make our own memories. It is what poppi would have wanted. We are blessed that we live in times of video cameras and camcorders.
I would also like to share that Easter is not just about candy, it is also about the rise of Jesus.

My family rocks!
Today my family threw me a 30th bday party! I was all smiles as My niece and nephew decorated the house with balloons and ELmo streamers! I got red roses and pink hydrangeas! My sisters chipped in and got me a Pandora with charms! My hubby got me a ninja back massager with heat.... along with some gift cards and stuff for my greenhouse, it was a wonderful day!
I was sad that my dad wasn't there. He always found me some obscure scooby doo collectors item for my bday. My mom gave me a cameo that my dad had given her, and some pearls as well. He was there, I just wish I could talk to him.
All in all,my family knows me pretty well! Thanks you guys for my 30th bday!!!!!

Happy Thanksgiving (retro style lol)
Well Thanksgiving is over. Shockingly I am not ready for Christmas. I went out on Black Friday and finally got back into my sleep schedule today. This year we decided to not wait outside, but rather we planned on being at each store an hour after they opened. We figured that if we missed deals then we could price match at Wal-Mart or try Cyber Monday. It was not worth the craziness to me. I am already crazy enough! We went to Toys R'Us first at midnight. They had everything we were looking for! We lucked out and we so excited! We were there until 2am. Then we were going to go to Wal-Mart, but there was still a line, so we went to Kohl's instead! Big mistake on my part!!! Spent to much money! I got $90 in Kohl's cash ($15 for every $50). So yes I spent $300. However I got the main thing on my shopping list. A Keurig Elite! It was on sale for $107. I also got a lot of gifts for the men that I needed desperately. I also got some really nice jewelry. Then the toys were such a good price, I decided to stock up for birthdays next year. My sister took the Kohl's cash ( I owed her $$ from a previous shopping trip lol). So I got my Keurig for $107 - the $90!!! I got my Keurig for $17!!!!!!!!! Then we were gonna go to Wal-Mart, but there were a lot of cops there, so I chickened out. We decided to go to my sister's house and rest for an hour before Home Depot opened!....My sister fell asleep, so we went with my bro-in-law instead! OMG the sales at Home Depot were crazy! I was able to finish all the guys up, except for 1 or 2 gifts! My bro-in-law got really cool evergreen wreaths for $5 only! Then we went home!
Yesterday my brother had Santa at his house (go to my mom's site www.3partnersinshopping.blogspot.com for pics) and all the kiddos were there!
Stayed tuned for more exciting giveaways and Christmas ideas!!!

Technology crisis!
So after Hurricane Irene hit I lost power for 4 days. I have a chest freezer, a stand up freezer, and a fridge/freezer. I lost 3 freezers worth of food. ugh. But no one was hurt and it was only food. (why I should have a eat out your freezer week). Now we got the really bad snow storm. It is day 4 without power. I am at a hotel using wifi. It is so hard reaching loved ones. Cells phones are a life saver. I am thinking back to when people relied on snail mail and had to wait weeks, months or years to hear from family. My immediate family all lives within 30 minutes of one another. I can not imagine how people live so far away. That would drive me batty(more then I am already). We didn't have power on Halloween :( it makes me sad to think that it was my dad's favorite holiday (he used to get dry ice, scare kids, dress up, play music... etc etc). As I thought about this I was at my sisters house. She had no power, but a fireplace (me too) and I was sleeping over to help with the kiddos. As I looked around the room, I saw a beautiful sight, and I knew that my dad was enjoying his favorite holiday from heaven. I saw my oldest sister light more candles then she has in her whole lifetime, I saw my brother and his wife sleep deprived from having a baby and no hot water to warm bottles or food, my other sister taking care of our pets, and my mom. we were all completely exhausted, but we were together. all it took was a smile from one of the kids to make us all laugh. my dad knew we were all together. And that is what matters! Family

Hi
Happy Summer everyone!
It has been busy the last few months, and I still miss my dad alot. People say that it gets easier, but I don't think it has.
However, my dad loved to joke and kid around and I have decided that I am coming back!!! I have alot to share, and have been shoping lately. I would like to thank everyone for sticking with me, thru this tough time! My nephew just turned 4! I cannot believe it. 4 years ago I was working 40-60 hours a week, and wasn't a couponer. Yes I had only 1 set of inserts a week from my Sunday paper :O. My GodDaughter (niece) turns 3 this Sunday.... Time flies.
These are some random pics from the past few months:
This is my goddaugther and I at Friendly's for my nephews bday.

Life
Well my last post I was so ready to keep to my New Year's Resolution of managing this blog better. It seems so long ago now. My mom called me at 1am on Ash Wednesday to take my Dad to the hospital. My dad died in the backseat of our car. I have never seen anyone die before, much less someone so close to me. I felt like (and still do on occassion) I was swallowed whole into an abyss of neverending sadness. I didn't think that I would make it thru the wake or the funeral, but I did. This is a picture of my dad, and Ramona on Christmas day, just before we had to put Ramona down. Growing up my father was always there for me, cheering me on.He was an avid HAM radio operator, and loved to build models. He taught us kids everything he could. From home inprovement to History. Deal Sharing Aunt will not be the same, for awhile, but I am goin to try to ease back into the swing of things. I haven't been shopping, but I was able to use up alot of my stockpile, especially after the eatting out of your pantry challenge.
To those of you who came to the wake and funeral, thank you. Your support and kindness is greatly appreciated. I also want to say that I am so proudof my mom for being so strong. I love you mom! more then words can ever say!

I am back
ok, so are you wondering where I was? me too... lol
I am running for Board of Education in my town, and this last month has been crazy. Between going door to door, meeting seniors, Fund Raisers, and SHOPPING of course I have been wicked busy. I have to say that my stockpile of bake goods is finally manageable. I have also used so many other stockpile items that you only use this time of year (like baking soda, and Instant Oatmeal). Yes I made Oatmeal pecan cookies by scratch (imagine pecan pie and an Oatmeal cookie). Almost Every day my hubby and I were making double brownie mixes or pasta or cookies. Needless to say it has been crazy. My mom is also running for Town Council, and my Hubby is running for Selectman. Wish us luck we need it! It is the first time I am a candidate, my hubby as well, and it has been interesting. My mom has been been elected to BOE and TC before. So after Tuesday I should be back on track for blogging.
