My sister has vacation this week, so us three sisters will probably be together every day with the kiddos. When us three get together the husbands love it! Mostly because we clean out each others pantries and make a bunch of stuff. Tonight we had a Digiorno Pizza, potato skins and buffalo chicken(the mom's house). Sunday we had chicken in the crock pot with a pasta slow cooker packet, homemade broccoli soup(fresh broccoli, and pumpkin soup (my house)... which was all really good. Tomorrow night is yet to be determined. lol. Plus my mom made almond cookies from scratch that now our husbands want us to make this week. Hopefully we can have a freezer day. I would love to spend 1 day just making stuff to freeze.
So I will not do a menu plan this week, only because I know that it will change. lol.
There is a great deal at target right now Worth the venus razors, and there are a lot of rebates right now. We have been shopping (3 sisters, and an after the holiday sale??? lol we couldn't resist) and hopefully I will be able to post tomorrow. Happy Shopping all! Shaw's trip today
I did three orders:
This is what I got:
Order #1
8 Burt's Bees cuticle cream, on clearance for $1 each
10 Pop Tarts 12 ct
I had a $1/3 Pop Tarts Shaws Q; that the cashier and head cashier refused to take, because each of my items already had a Q. I asked for the manager and looked a the screen. my total was $73???????? I asked why the bill was so high, and she said that it was right. I said no way! 10 Pop Tarts at $2.50 is $25 ?? Something is wrong. She scrolled the screen up, and she charged me $49 for 7 of the Burt's Bees! What a deal I was getting them for! I couldn't believe it! I have never bought Burt's before.. :)
So by this time the manager was there, voided the $49, and nicely told the cashier that she as wrong about the Q policy :) This was my 1st of 3 orders, and already started trouble, so I figured that I would clear on this order and move on.
My total was $26 before Qs
Qs used: 4 $1/2 Burt's Bees... MAKING THEM $0.50 each :O ; 5 $1/2 Pop Tarts; 1 $1/3 Pop Tarts shaws Q; and $10
Total OOP $5.06 with tax
I am looking at my receipt now, and there is no charge for the other 7 Burts Bees????
Also there are 11 $1 Qs, when there should have been only 10
I have no Idea what happened, but they have that commodity law here in CT, and I am thinking thats why I got the Burt's Bees free, 7 Free at $1 each equals the $7 that I should have gotten free? I am confused, but thats my best guess?
I will also be sending in for a $10 rebate.. all in all, $4.94 MM!, and I got $10 back in a gift card, because the CATS didn't print, and the same manager was still standing there.

This is what my sisters and I call "bargain". At first it was to not let our hubby's know where we were really going... I used to spend at least $100 a visit :( LOL but 1 hubby caught on and told the others, then told our mom. LOL so when I go I really try to spend only $20 a trip. It has been difficult. LOL and if I buy gifts, they don't count towards the spending limit. ;) I bought a really nice apple clock for my apple kitchen for $4.99 (I even stenciled apples on my fan blades lol) We recently went there last week, and I got flash cards for the kiddos for $1.29 they count up to 20 now, and the new cards go to 26 :) ..... They also just started carrying HBA items and they take Qs. !! They also had Physician Formula make-up marked down to $2.42 and I used $2 Qs. If you have a store near you, you should check it out!

They must have been having a special double coupon sale that I didn't know about. I saw him take off every Q, and didn't even look at that section until right now... I did look at my receipt and saw that I was overcharged for the Electrasol tho, but I had already paid $27.44 OOP
So I talked to the manager and I had the wrong size Quantum, so I returned 2 of those at $4.99 each. My hubby said he wanted his Qs back, and the manager said, they are already thru the system. Which looking back now WHOA, I am glad that he didn't investigate the Qs further... Double WHOA! lol. So then to figure out the rest of the Electasol this is what he did: refunded 1 (law in CT if you are overcharged then you get 1 of the item free) at $4.99, then refunded the 2 that I should have gotten free at $4.99 each. So far with these 2 receipts $24.95 was refunded to my credit card. plus my sister was there and she had an expired $7 CAT and asked him what he could do to help her. So he added the $7 to the order. ALL IN ALL I WAS CHARGED $27.44 AND WAS THEN CREDITED $31.95 ON MY CREDIT CARD! $4.51 MM, PLUS I AM SENDING AWAY FOR THE SCOTT $2 REBATE. I gave my sister her $7 in the form of a Shaws CAT lol ;) So technically after all is said and done I paid $0.49 for all the stuff in this order! They paid me $19.96 to get 4 Electrasol, which paid for the rest of my groceries. The Mccormicks were all free, I got the 2 24 pks of Pepsi for $5 or $2.50 each.

Colgate/ Palmolive
This is 1 of the "rebates" I sent away for! I needed to send the UPCs, and spend $50 on Colgate/Palmolive products (if I remember correctly!) Not only did I get the free products, but also $8.50 worth of coupons, and a good quality travel bag!
