CVS trip's

Ok this was my hubby's trip on 7/14/09... let me just say it was a nightmare. All I know is that the cashier made him do 3 different orders, and made it so that he couldn't use the only ECBs he had on him at the time $10 and $20. So he paid OOP more then we usually would. Then to really tick me off his ECBs for the Benefiber and Olay didn't print... So by this time I was done with my order. After the cashier accused me of having 5 cards? lol i wish... and apparently it is a cardinal sin to use a reusable bag that isn't from CVS in a CVS, the manager finally came over. I was not too happy lol. Oh and even though york only comes in 1 size, he had to get a King Size Hersey bar to use a get 1 free Q.....??? She did take coupons, and the manager got me my $20 in ECBs....However on a lighter side, since he used no ECBs, he has $46.91 (has used some since this transaction) in ECBs right now. Approx.. he paid $9, $10 (refused $10 ECBs due to tax), and $9. So he paid $28 approx, and earned more then that in ECBs...He also used up 1 of my RX GC's, and that is another reason he couldn't use his ECBs.. All I can say is whatever lol I still am not quite sure what happened.

Total OOP $1.15 with tax
I got out to the car and realized that I was overcharged again, I wasn't going home and dealing with all that drama again, so I made my hubby turn around and take me back. The cashier we had was outside walking to her car, I showed her the receipt and she kindly walked back into the store with me to finish helping me. She returned $12.71 to a CVS money card. Then she rerang the L'oreal on a new order and it came to $2.64, So I have $5 ECBs and a $10.71 Gift Card, plus I have $20 ECBs from the Almay.
So technically I paid $26.09 (2nd order total after Qs) less $10.71 Gift card balance = $15.38 less $3.74 Windex rebate = $11.64 less $5 ECBs earned = $6.64, I could have used $5 ECBs (earn $5 use $5), and my TOTAL OOP for everything would have been $1.64..

Updates

So I used my gas rewards from Price Chopper and I saved $0.60 a gallon. I paid $2.18 a gallon!

CVS receipt that was completely FUBAR! from 6/11/09:
I called corporate and they told me to try in the store, so I did. I was semi satisfied. I got back $3 from being overcharged the Febreeze Air Effects, and I got back $3.99 for being overcharged the Softsoap ensembles. They also Printed the $3 ECBs from the Covergirl, and the item that I didn't know what it was, was Old Spice Deodorant. However the manager would not give me the Revlon B1G1 and the 50% off, even tho the ad stated B1G1 any Revlon concealer. So I told him I had already talked to corporate and they said that it was ok, but he was just being a pain. I got $12.99 back, and figured I would return the Revlon, and get my $42 back. A week later I had them in the car to return, when I had the original cashier that rang them up wrong. My sis and I usually go the night shift after the kiddos are sleeping, and we get this guy alot. Hes really nice, so I figured I would ask him and see what he said. I asked if he remembered the sale and the Revlon being B1G1, but they were also 50% OFF, and he had to key in the 50% off manually, and that's why the B1G1 didn't work, he looked at the receipt, said yes those are my numbers, and gave me $21 in ECBs. I'm cool with that! so I got my $33.99 back. That makes me happy enough, so I will forget about the tax. So I guess the moral of the story is, CVS is still my favorite. On a side note the Revlon ended up being $14.29 times 6 = $85.74 less 50% off = $42.87 less $21 (ECBs issued for B1G1) = $21.87 less 6 $1/1 Qs = $15.87 for 6.. Final Price was $2.65 each , pretty good from $14.29 originally

deal was supposed to be $14.29 X 6 = $85.74 less 50% = $42.87 less B1G1 = $21.43 less 6 $1/1 Qs = $15.43/6 or $2.57 each FP, Depending on what corporate says, I might just return them..and get $42.87 back
