Kit Kat & Lucy The Coutry Cats Who Changed a City Girl's World by Lonnie Hull DuPont

Kit Kat and Lucy

by Lonnie Hull DuPont

"Genuinely moving, poignant, hilarious (cue a mouse dropping from the ceiling), and ultimately compelling as Lonnie Hull DuPont experiences the sustaining power of love in furry form."--Susy Flory, author or coauthor of eleven books, including Thunder Dog, a New York Times bestseller

After years of vibrant city life in San Francisco, Lonnie Hull DuPont reluctantly trades her three-room apartment on Telegraph Hill for a farmhouse in Michigan. She immediately misses the rhythm and the pace of the city, and the isolation of country living has her longing for something more.

Enter Kit Kat, an obsessive-compulsive tortoiseshell, and Lucy, a playful Russian Blue who can nail a bat right out of the air. These stray cats arrive a year apart and each ask to move into the farmhouse--and ultimately DuPont's heart. From the hysterical process of getting two strange cats to like each other to the exciting years of watching those cats thrive--and inspire DuPont in the process--this book is the heartwarming story of how one woman's world would never be the same.

My review;

Lonnie Hull DuPont has left San Francisco behind and has moved to Michigan. She really feels very lonely and wishes she was both with other people. Then 2 cats show up and change her life. Kit Kat comes first then Lucy. Will these two cats get along? Anyone who loves cats should make sure that they do not miss this book. It is a treasure and a treat to read. I enjoyed this book very much. Right now I have 4 cats and I love each and everyone of them. I give this book a 5/5. I was given this book for a review by revel Publishing Company and these are my opinions.
