Daphne’s
a smooth talker who over-shares when she’s nervous and has something to hide,
like when she runs into Margot in the grocery store.
She runs
a successful online pet costume business and LOVES tossing in e-commerce terms
and short-forms like A/B testing and AOV (average-order-value) like EVOO (extra
virgin olive oil).
- Do they have a catchphrase?
Daphne's
not one to swear (even to herself) and her favourite phrase? Nucking Futs!
It suits
nearly every situation and rolls off the tongue. She loves it so much she had
mugs made with it (available
on Etsy here)

pessimistic?
Daphne is
an eternal optimist, even if she has bouts of desperation over her situation.
In her heart, she always believes things will work out for the best. And if
they don’t, she'll blot it out with prosecco!

Daphne is
the ultimate extrovert and loves to be seen, heard and admired. There’s nothing
that gets her pulse racing like stepping up to the mic on SAGA event nights

Some
impulse control would be great! If Daphne ever did her research, she could have
saved herself a whole bunch of trouble in Dinked: Serenity Acres.

Clothes, hair and make-up, in that
order! And a certain dance instructor.
- What are their pet peeves?
Products
that don’t deliver and fake Amazon ratings. Nothing disappoints like a new
make-up product that doesn’t stack up. That’s when the bags and receipts start
to stack up too. At least a portion of Daphne’s under-the-bed space id
dedicated to unused “miracle” products.
- What are their idiosyncrasies?
Daphne’s scared of odd numbers and does not allow them to be used on the TV volume remote. She saged the remote last time Irwin left on 17 and secretly blames their house number for certain problems.
