Book Description:
The Men of Machismo series
revolves around nine friends who worked together in a male revue. Each book
follows the life of a different former dancer seven years later. The Bad Decision
Legacy is Will and Tonya’s story.
Tonya’s psychotic ex is stalking
her. Not the best time to meet men, still her best friend begs her to show up
for blind date dinner. Her plan includes the meet and greet, then heading home.
Of course, she never expected a man who sent every hormone in her body into
high alert. Will looked like her next bad decision.
Will’s work as a divorce lawyer
included discouraging embittered women from ramming their soon to be exes with
the car or setting fire to their husband’s latest girlfriend. No wonder he fell
hard for Tonya. The first woman he met with no agenda, well almost none. It’s
obvious Tonya is knee deep in trouble, but refuses to ask for help. Instead of
running the other way, he contemplates dashing into the tornado she refers to
as her life. With any luck, he might survive.

About
the Author:
Morgan K Wyatt writes steamy
romances with a side of laughter under the name of Morgan Kay. The wisecracking
heroines and hunky heroes are similar to the ones in her mainstream novels, but
in the Steamy Interludes series, the bedroom door is left open. Real life issues, humor, dogs are also
staples in Morgan Kay romances.
Where
are you from?
Originally Georgetown, Indiana, the one that’s the
Southern tip of Indiana. There are four Georgetowns.
Tell
us your latest news?
I’m releasing The Bad Decision Legacy, which is a
start of a new series. I’m also releasing three other books this summer under
different pen names.
When
and why did you begin writing?
I wrote my first story in first grade because I
thought the reading book stories were lame.
When
did you first consider yourself a writer?
I had a poem published when I was fifteen and
actually got paid.
What
inspired you to write your first book?
My first book is out of print now. It was a western
inspired by the endless western movies. I’m revising it for re-release this
year.
Do
you have a specific writing style
I used to be a panster, but discovered the
practicality of outlining a book. It helps with pacing.
How
did you come up with the title?
The Bad Decision Legacy was originally Exposed. I had
to think about how Tonya got in so much trouble. She made a bad decision when
she heard a former boyfriend was getting married. The bad decision took on a
life of its own, which explains the legacy part.
Is
there a message in your novel that you want readers to grasp?
Your friends will support you if you ask for help.
Assistance also comes in unexpected packages too.
How
much of the book is realistic?
Actually, a great deal since women face harassment
or blackmail by former lovers. I also have Tonya in a company that is cutting
personnel and everyone is on edge. Been there, done that.
The Milky Way Martini that I enjoyed in West
Chester, Ohio and inserted it in the book. I also figured out how to make it in
the process too.
What
books have most influenced your life most?
As a child, I enjoyed Victoria Holt, Chelsea Quinn
Yarbro, and Phillipa Gregory. Scarlett in Gone
with the Wind made me realize women with flaws were much more interesting
than perfect females. Now, I read all sorts of genres, although I prefer Linda
Howard, Jayne Ann Krentz, and Brenda Novak for their realistic portrayals,
emotional depth, and great plots.
If
you had to choose, which writer would you consider a mentor?
I met Brenda Novak at Rom Com. She was super cool,
keeps a tight writing schedule, has an involved family life and writes amazing
books. She’s role model material.
What
book are you reading now?
Night Thunder by Jill Gregory. I usually go through
a book a week.
Are
there any new authors that have grasped your interest?
Darynda Jones and her Charley Davidson novels. I
didn’t think I’d like reading about the grim reapers, demons, etc, but I enjoy
it when Darynda tells the story.
What
are your current projects?
I have three other books to release this summer
including He Loves Me Not under
Morgan K Wyatt pen name, Drop Dead
Handsome by M K Scott, and the Faerie
Lights series by Rayna Noire. I’m traveling in the name of research to
Salem, Massachusetts and New Orleans.
What
would you like my readers to know?
They could have their names on the back of any of my
new releases as a reviewer. I usually go through the Amazon reviews and contact
people to see if I can use a sentence from their review on the paperback
version of my book. For their generosity, I send them a signed paperback copy.
Tour
giveaway
There are 14 prizes, with 9 of
them being gift cards including $50 Amazon gift cards. Winners can exchange a
gift card that might not be pertinent or useful to them for an Amazon card. It
is open to international entries.
Thanks for hosting The Bad Decision Legacy. I'm late today trying to get another book out for release. I always appreciate you and your site. You rock.
