Camden
shrugged his shoulders. “Don’t be so hard on yourself. If she is your mate,
it’s nothing you did on your own. It would’ve happened regardless.” The phone
rang. Kaden stood, but Camden motioned for him to sit back down. “I’ll take
care of it.” He headed toward their family room in the front of the house.
“There’s
really no need to panic at this point,” Hayden said, opening the refrigerator,
pausing to check out the contents, finally settling on lunch meat and cheese.
“I suggest you act as if nothing has changed.”
Kaden
thought about how he’d left things with Annabelle. There was no way they could
go back to the way they were. The next time he saw her, she’d expect answers.
She deserved answers. “I don’t see how that can happen.”

Interview
Where are you from?
Maryland
Tell us your latest news?
My first adult
paranormal romance novel, UNDER HIS SKIN, is releasing on September 21, 2015!
I’m very excited about this new series, and I can’t wait for people to read it.
When and why did you begin writing?
I started writing
full-time about three years ago. I began writing because I had all these
characters floating around in my head. I had to write their stories to get rid
of them. ;-p
When did you first consider yourself a writer?
When I finished the
first draft of my first novel.
What inspired you to write your first book?
I’d been reading a lot
of YA fantasy at the time. It seemed like most of the heroines had a normal
life, then one day found out they were magical. I thought it would be
interesting to write about a character that knew all about their magical power,
but wasn’t totally excited about it. That was the idea that spawned the MORTAL ENCHANTMENT series.
You can download the
first book here for FREE: http://www.amazon.com/Shadow-Prince-Mortal-Enchantment-Book-ebook/dp/B00IT1DQX0/ref=sr_1_2_twi_kin_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1442412304&sr=8-2&keywords=Stacey+O%27Neale
Do you have a specific writing style?
I don’t think I do.
Reviewers tend to compare me to Jennifer L. Armentrout and Julie Kagawa, which
of course is a huge compliment. I don’t see it personally, but I’ll take
it. ;-)
How did you come up with the title?
Is there a message in your novel that you want
readers to grasp?
It’s a fun, saucy best
friends to lovers’ story. I don’t think there’s a specific message.
How much of the book is realistic?
It’s based in Germantown,
Maryland. That’s a real place.
Are experiences based on someone you know, or
events in your own life?
No, it’s about an alien
that falls in love with a human.
What books have most influenced your life most?
I read, The Hobbit and
Lord of the Rings by J. R. R. Tolkien in middle school. That made me fall in
love with fantasy literature. Comic books played a role as well. I still
collect them. ;-)
If you had to choose, which writer would you
consider a mentor?
I don’t have a mentor. I
read a ton of books. I will admit, I have an author crush on Holly Black. I
think she’s the shizzle.
What book are you reading now?
The Shadow Queen by C.
J. Redwine
Are there any new authors that have grasped your
interest?
Ha! Too many to name.
What are your current projects?
I’m writing a
contemporary military romance for my agent. Then, the final book in my MORTAL ENCHANTMENT series called ETERNAL SACRIFICE. After that, the
second book in this new series.
What would you like my readers to know?

My favorite aliens would be the Transformers, Bumblebee and Optimus Prime. I chose them, because they aren't scary, they want to helps us (people), and they can turn into fancy, awesome cars lol.
