NO POVERTY BETWEEN THE SHEETS Review & Giveaway

Book Description:

This book documents the strong ties that bind generations together. When the author poses the question to her Irish Granny, "If you were so poor why did you have ten children?" Says she, "To be certain, there was no poverty between the sheets!" This sassy saga of a large family that is half Irish and half French Canadian captures hilarious voices and comical antics of a vibrant family that is cloaked in love. A horse theme and song lyrics are neatly knitted throughout the layers of generations.

My review;
"No Poverty Between the Sheets" is a story that shows how much love there can be in  a family with ten children, even if they are poor. It will make you laugh and cry at the same time. The reader  will wish that they  had known this family,  they must have been wonderful to be around.  The author made every page interesting and makes the reader want to keep reading and reading and not want the story to end. I really loved this book and the characters are great. I give this book a 4/5. I was given this book for the purpose of a  review and these are my opinions.

  1. I read this book for our book club and I laughed so much - and shed a few tears. Now I feel like I know Pauline and her family so well. The story unwinds through a large Irish family - much like my own. The story is her own, and her voice bounds through the pages as if I can hear her speaking about her family and her horses. Great first book Pauline Kiely.. can't wait for more.
