Just Chemistry by Vera Jax book review *erotica*
BLURB: Logan is powerfully attracted to the woman standing before him in the elevator. Minutes later he discovers that they have at least one thing in common: both work for Blue Dreams Marketing—he in the LA office and she in the Houston branch. And he is Sam’s superior. Sam is equally attracted to Logan. Not one to let opportunities slip by, she gets him to share a “lunch” where each is the main course. But Sam has worked too hard to jeopardize a career she loves for the sake of sexual chemistry. Everyone knows that sleeping with—let alone dating—a superior is bad business. Worse still is the fact that Logan is being considered for a promotion that may put Sam’s job on the line. Sam breaks it off with Logan. But he won’t let her go, even after being presented with evidence that Sam is involved in another office affair. In the end corporate intrigue forces Sam and Logan to band together for the sake of their careers. Logan is determined to remain at Sam’s side, but will she let him?

My Review:
How many times have you seen someone cute in an elevator? A complete stranger that makes you look twice? We have all been there. But how many of us take it further and have a sexual encounter? Then to find out that you work together and that one of you is the boss of the other? As in most cases in the corporate world, it is dog eat dog, and promotions are always on the line. Is Chemistry enough to keep them together? It doesn't look that way when they break it off, only to realize that banded together they are stronger. Will pride stand in the way?
I really liked this book, it is erotica, so if you like erotica than this book will be good for you. I liked this book because I can relate to being in an elevator, and having a sexy boss. It is also intriguing to think about lust in the corporate world and the twisted web of business that goes with it. Is it moral to sleep with your boss? What might you learn about other coworkers? What if you have a fight? Are you afraid to have a fight? What if other coworkers see you together? It is definitely full of different circumstances, some with good results, and some with bad.
Vera is a good writer, and it was a hard book to put down. (can you put down an ebook on the pc?)lol. I found myself not wanting the book to end.
