My review;"Irish Meadows" was written about 2 young women who are living in Long Island, New York in the year 1911. Colleen and Brianna O'Leary know what they are expected to do. They are supposed to be good Irish girls and listen to their father. He is making them think that they must marry who he picks for them or they will be putting the horse farm called, Irish Meadows", that their family owns in jeopardy. Brianna does not want to get married but wants to further her education. Colleen has different ideas. As the time slips away they are getting closer to losing the farm. Both women have to be strong enough to pick their own futures. Will they be strong enough to fight for their own futures? I give this book a 4/5. I was given this book by Litfuse Publicity. These opinions are mine.
