My Review:
My family is from Italy and my great grand mother and great aunt came over on a boat by themselves. This book had strong Italian women. I really liked that there was history in the story as well. This book was based on a true story. There is so much more great Italian heritage in this book, the art, the food, the wine... just to name a few. The plot thickens with secrets and an inheritance that people are willing to do anything for. Mostly this story was about family, birthright and heritage. I loved all the Italian lingo! I only wish that I knew more of the Italian language. I am giving this book a 5/5. I was given a copy to review, however all opinions are my own.
