Dr. John Sanders has given Rebecca Brownell a new chance at life. After an isolated childhood, an abused adolescence, and an institutionalized existence,
Rebecca is finally free to conquer her demons and build a promising life.
However, once Rebecca achieves her dreams, eerily personal letters begin arriving in the mail. Letters sent from someone who knows far more about her past
than anyone should. Letters that intimately question Rebecca's sanity.
And then the letters turn threatening...
Unauthored Letters is the inspiring tale of a woman's troubled past, a man's quest to protect her, and their battle to fight a mysterious foe. It's a story
of trust strained by illness, love tried by lies, and promises terrorized by illusive danger.

The mystery is simple . . . but finding out the hows and whys are enough to maintain an interest in discovering how it all ends. Unauthored Letters is a
captivating and thoughtful read without being pretentious.

My Review:
This was a great book to spread awareness about mental illness. I was so happy when Rebecca stopped being institutionalized and that a doctor had faith in her. I liked the doctor/ patient relationship and I thought that the author made these characters true to life. I felt like fate determined a bad future for Rebecca. No matter what she did, she would never be free. To survive childhood abuse and everything else that Rebecca did, only to be taunted, made me root for her. I wanted her to be happy, and felt that she deserved it. These characters had real emotions. I felt as though I was reading about people I could meet.
The mystery was not far fetched, and could be easily guessed. However I was so worried about Rebecca that the clues eluded me. The ending was good, and I liked how I was able to grow with the characters from the first book, to the end of this book. I am giving this book a 5/5. I was given a copy to review, however all opinions are my own.
