My Review:
I had such high hopes for Colony East, and I was not disappointed. The end was worth the wait, and now I waiting or book 3. Again this book had all the same features as the first book, and I read so much background info that I feel as though I know characters. I also felt as though I was on an emotional roller coaster. Definitely a 4/5. I was given a copy to review, however all opinions are my own.

My Review:
This is a great story that would make any parent proud that their child was able to survive without them. When only children are left after a mass killing, via dust, who becomes the leader? I liked that the siblings stuck together and I could really feel the amount of love and respect that they were raised with. I could also feel the stress, and I felt bad for these kids that they grew up too fast. They lost their childhood. There were definitely parts that I was really sad, and others where I was so happy and proud. The writer made a very descriptive world and I followed along very easily. I am giving this book a 4/5. I was given a copy to review, however all opinions are my own.
