Luke looked up from his work, his gray eyes meeting mine under his chocolate bangs, a smudge of grease underneath his chin. When our eyes met there was a magnetism there that neither of us could deny. I could stare into those gray pools for hours and that worried me. He followed my eyes to the fireplace, “Ugh, I left you here without a fire? Jesus I’m a terrible man servant.” “You’re not my servant.” If you were I’d have other things for you to do. His lips separated from my own and he moved his delectable mouth next to my ear. “You feel so good, so warm,” he whispered throatily. “I want you, all of you.”
Flames (Fireside Series Vol. 2) is being released on August 5th!

My Review of Ablaze:
This was a great novella that proves that money does not buy happiness. This seemed more of a chapter from a book to me rather than a stand alone novela in a series. I would have wished that the author released them all together. There really was no ending, and all the characters were left up in the air. There were definitely sparks between the characters and I felt bad for Cheyenne, and I wanted to write a letter to her father about womans rights in today's society. I am giving this book a 3/5. I was given a copy to review, however all opinions are my own.
