A man who doesn’t like change . . .
The Wilder family is something of a Sweet, TX institution: between their yearly BBQ blow-outs and their Hardware and Feed store, they’re an institution—an institution that ex-marine Reno Wilder has tried to preserve, in honor of his lost loved ones. But it seems like he’s the only one who’s got any respect left for traditions when a new TV makeover show rolls in to renovate Sweet to bring in more tourists. Everyone is pleased except Reno—and this cowboy is determined to keep everything just the way he likes it.
A woman who wants to change everything . . .
Inquisitive. Stubborn. Smart. Drop dead gorgeous. That would be makeover show host and designer, Charlotte Brooks—the woman Reno has declared war against. And yet, he can’t seem to keep away from her, or to get her off his mind. Charlotte isn’t afraid to back down from a challenge—of any kind—and she’s promised to prove to Reno that change can be sexy, hot, and very, very sweet, if Reno and Charli learn to let go of their pasts and grab hold of a future full of promise.

Author Interview:
Thank you for hosting my tour today!
- Is Reno
more of a Marine or more of a cowboy?
Reno was adopted by his aunt and uncle at the age of five. He was raised on a huge cattle ranch and taught to love and respect the land as well as the people in his small town of Sweet, Texas. It was with that same strong sense of love and honor that he became a Marine. So for him, they both go hand-in-hand. - Do you
do makeovers or designs?
Funny you should ask! For several years when my husband would go hunting I’d redo a room. There used to be a show on TV called “While You Were Out” and it always looked like fun but honestly, it was exhausting. I just didn’t realize how many workers they probably had behind-the-scenes helping out. Now I take a smarter approach and ask my husband to lend a hand. - Would
you rather marry a Marine or a cowboy? Why?
Hmmm. That’s a tough one, because both Marines and cowboys are hard-workers, definitely alpha males, loyal, protective, and dedicated. I think the only difference is the uniform they wear. And personally, I think men look sexy in either. So it would have to be a coin toss. - What
would you like my readers to know?
I love to create characters and situations that readers can relate to and I try to make it a fun read. Which may not include walking a tightrope over alligator infested waters, but it will always include a character taking a leap of faith and finding that one person who will fulfill their hearts desire. Because I truly believe in happily-ever-afters. I’m living one right this very moment.

ReplyDeleteI'm glad you brought up "While You Were Out." Hadn't thought about that show in a long time, but it did look fun. Of course, they don't show all the work behind the scenes. Good luck to you in your upcoming writing and makeovers.
