Captured in Ink by Donna McDonald review!! 5/5 Larson men are back!

When a one-night stand turns out to be the woman of his dreams, 27 yr old Shane Larson ends up taking a giant detour as the universe sends him to 34 yr old Reesa Callahan’s front door. There he finds not just the woman he wants, but a whole family that seems to need him. Being in love with Reesa is just as rewarding as his father predicted, but does he have what it takes to love them all?
Art of Love Series
This series has funny moments, but hits on some very serious topics as the heroines in each book have some serious flaws and challenges. The Art of Love series also focuses on the role art plays in the characters' lives and their family relationships.

It starts with three books about a family of artists consisting of the father, William Everett Larson (53), and his two adult sons, Michael Larson (34) and Shane Larson (27). I genuinely like all three of these men as heroes and think my readers will also. Each has his own appeal and the women they connect to romantically are very interesting. The other books grew from additional friends and family that popped up in the new relationships.

These books are a bit rougher emotional ride as a read, but as always, I can guarantee you a happy ending.

About the author:
After 35 years of doing everything for a living except writing books, I finally published my first romance novel in March of 2011. Sixteen novels later, I am living my own "happily ever after" life as an author. I love writing romance. It is the best job I have ever had. I love to hear from readers and try to always answer back.

Thank you for reading my books. Hope you enjoy them.

My Review:
This is the third book in The Art of Love Series. I am still as excited about this family as when I read the first book. I love how the characters from the previous two books kept showing up in this book. I absolutely was enjoying catching up with them. They still had the same issues they had, only now they went through them together. They also are starting to rub of on the other members of the family that have not settled down yet. This book focused on Shane and Anne. We find out later on in the book that Anne is Tessa's middle name.
How can a one night stand mean so much to Shane? He fell in love at first sight and can not find Tessa. He doesn't even know that her first name is Tessa yet. He lucks out when he helps a friend do some housework for a lady named Tessa. He can not believe his luck when he sees her. She is distant and had a reason for not telling him who she was. She is taking care of her sisters kids, including a very young child that sleeps in her bed at night after nightmares, and her time is taken. She barely has time for herself. She soon finds out that the Larson men get the women they want!
There is so much more to this story. Tessa has to fight to keep the kids together and she has to earn more money, but doesn't have time for a job. Shane offers her money, but she refuses to take it. It is by Shane's determination and love that they finally find a way to support the kids that they both agree to, and it happens at the last possible moment. I was reading about Tessa at the Court hearing and I didn't think that she was going to keep the kids.
This book is about true love and the bond between families that makes life worth it. I really really loved this book. I am excited to read book four, and I think I know who it will be about! I am giving this book a 5/5. I was given a copy to review, however all opinions are my own!
