Autumn Blog Challenge day 8

Favorite go to recipe...
Mine is Peking pork Chops in the Crock pot. I can not eat pork (was a vegetarian for 15 years, and now it disagrees with me)...
This is a good recipe for any kind of meat tho.... I like the chicken best...
6 chicken breast boneless
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 teasp sugar
1 teasp 5 spice powder
1/2 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup ketchup
4 cloves garlic
combine all ingredients but chicken.
put chicken in crock pot, pour sauce over chicken
cook for 8 hours on low or 4 on high
***** I use chicken and instead of the 5 spice powder, I use cinnamon, cloves, anise, and pepper (no fennel)...

This is so yummy. Even left in long enough it will fall of the bone!
depending on what I have in the house I make this into many different meals.
as a main dish, potatoes n veggie
chop the chicken before putting in crock pot, serve on bed of rice
serve with noodles...
etc etc
There are so many different options!
