Graduates from an acting college have gathered at the retreat for their ten-year reunion. Old friends reconnect, but apparently, so have old enemies. The book club must evaluate the attendees to determine whose baggage has led to murder.

Where are you from?
Hello,
and thanks for having me! I live in the lovely, lush Pacific Northwest, and
have a getaway in the Sonoran Desert in Arizona. These are two extremely
different environments, and I love them both.
Tell us your latest news?
I’ve
just released book 8 in the Magical Mystery Book Club series. It’s a very
special, magical book club! When this group chooses a book, magic happens. The
mystery comes to life, and they find themselves part of the story. To exit the
book and get back home, they need to solve the mystery and reach The End.
When and why did you begin writing?
I
wrote non-fiction for over twenty years, then my husband encouraged me to try
my hand at storytelling. After the first book, I was hooked! I’m now writing my
16th cozy mystery and having the time of my life doing it!
What inspired you to write your first book?
I
love to read paranormal cozy mysteries, so that’s the genre I chose to write
in. The paranormal aspect gives me tremendous freedom to create amazing worlds
and characters.
How did you come up with the title?
This
book takes place in a luxurious tropical health resort where meditation,
relaxation, yoga and healthy food is on the menu. However, a ten-year college
reunion has gathered, and mischief and murder are the result.
Is there a message in your novel that you want readers to grasp?
The
over-arching story throughout the series is that people are more capable than
they think they are. That a group of unique individuals – from a feisty
octogenarian to a teenager, to a talking cat can all get to know each other and
work together as they become more like family with each adventure.
What would you like my readers to know?
The Magical Mystery Book club will take you everywhere from a palace belonging to a royal family of sprites, to a cabin the old Wild West, to a cruise ship bound for Hawaii with some unusual guests who only come out at night. You’ll get to fully experience each location, get to know the paranormal beings who live there, and solve a twisty mystery with the engaging book club. It’s a ton of fun!
