My Review:
Elizabeth is definitely a character to love and root for. She speaks her mind and stands up for who and what she believes in. However not all people like hearing the truth. Elizabeth steps on the toes of some powerful people. They soon start to threaten her and her loved ones. Michael and her are in love. Is there love able to make it through murder attempts? Through the past coming back in full force with secrets that will not stay buried? There is also Michael's kingdom and his future role as king. The author brought me to every area she described. She definitely knew her subject matter. This is a great read. I did not like the length, and thought that it was too long, especially for a book in a series. However the descriptions made it enjoyable. I am giving this book a 4/5. I was given a copy, however all opinions are my own.
