About the Author

Born and raised in Chicago, Virginia McCullough has been lucky enough to develop her writing career in many locations, including the coast of Maine, the mountains of North Carolina, the U.S. Virgin Islands, and currently, Northeast Wisconsin. She started her career in nonfiction, first writing articles and then books as a ghostwriter and coauthor. My Review:

Jason was one of those characters that I loved from the first moment I read about him. He went through such a tragedy and was a kid. No wonder why he had issues. His dad, Mike, was also stuck in the past from his traumas, However Mike was such a great dad. He gave up his life is a different place to come back home and raise Jason in a better environment. Ruby was just visiting, and did not expect to run into her former Pal and boyfriend Mike. Mike and Ruby share the same history and the same tragic accident, that changed both their lives forever. I also really liked Ruby's dog and the other members of their crew, when they were younger they were all friends. I would have like to know if Ruby and Mike were right about the accident? Seems that a lot of lives were changed, and I wondered why? I loved the ending. I can not say what happens, but this books definitely belongs in the heartwarming series. I am giving this book a 5/5. I was given a copy. All opinions are my own.
