Jewel Cade wants two things—
One is Heath Loveland
The Rocky Mountain cowgirl has her heart set on becoming range boss of the Cade ranch. But first she has to accompany the son of her family’s longtime enemy—and her off-limits secret crush—on a cattle drive across Colorado. Discovering Heath shares her attraction only makes for a rockier road. Because Jewel has a sneaking suspicion that if she drops her guard, the cowboy might ride off with her heart.

My Review:
This is a great book inspired by Romeo and Juliet. It has the arts in it (music) and it has a family rivalry. Jewel has to decide to follow her family footsteps and run the ranch, or follow her heart. She has had a secret crush on Cade, and even before they even noticed each other were alive, her family already made it obvious that they could not be together. They also act as though she could not run the ranch. Heath is not perfect. he is engaged, but denies to a relative that he is getting married. Even though their families are feuding, they are thrown together. As they work side by side they start to fall for each other. A lawsuit, siblings and other things stand in their way. Will they be able to stay true to their hearts? The end reminded me of the family Christmases that we used to have at my grandparents when we saw all of our cousins and aunts and uncles. There was a lot of Sharing. I am giving this book a 5/5. All opinions are my own.
