My Review:
From the start I knew that I was going to enjoy these two characters. A caregiver and a firefighter, two people you want to live happily ever after. However as the book progressed I was not so happy with them. First "Bee" (Which I love where she got her nickname and it reminded me of my dad's nickname that he used to call me), runs into a fire and gets burnt. Then she doesn't take care of herself with the fire wounds. She completely shut Rand out and told him from the beginning that she did not want a relationship with a firefighter, and she was mean to him every time he tried to help her. She was incorrigible! Rand on the other hand bent over backwards trying to help her and saved her money. He even brought his friends to help her. He did turn her in, but that is his job, Safety should be first! The amount of time that they both spent with Eli and Chris is what really warmed my heart in this story. It was amazing to see these two boys blossom into young men with their futures ahead of them. Everything was going so well, until Rand took a job and moved away. The ending definitely made me teary eyed, and I can not wait to read more from this author. I would love to read up and see how these characters are doing. Especially the kids and the camp. I am giving this book a 5/5. All opinions are my own.
