Looking for a craft cozy so memorable you’ll stay up late scrapping about it? Well, welcome to the town of Eden.
Faith Hunter, who is supposed to be planning her wedding, instead finds herself distracted by the town scrapbook she was commissioned to create. Eden’s oldest mystery, the founding family’s exodus nearly a hundred years ago, remains unsolved.
A search through the family’s abandoned mansion leads to the uncovering of bones on that very property. And then ex-boyfriend Steve Davis announces a surprise heir has staked a claim.
How can Faith not be distracted? Now she’s determined to dig up the truth left behind.
Because scrappers are multi-taskers extraordinaire, Faith can’t say no when family friend Wyatt Buford asks her to look into his deadbeat father’s disappearing act and his connection to the murder.
Her quest for answers unearths secrets past and present that some would prefer stay buried at any cost. Faith’s resolve to present the facts and nothing but about Eden’s history could lead to her own future being cut short.
See what I mean about memorable? Delve in to Eden and you’ll find a cozy you won’t soon forget.

About the Author
The Faith Hunter Scrap This Mystery series brings together Christina Freeburn’s love of mysteries, scrapbooking, and West Virginia. When not writing or reading, she can be found in her scrapbook room or at a crop. Alas, none of the real-life crops have had a sexy male prosecutor or a handsome police officer attending.
Christina served in the JAG Corps of the US Army and also worked as a paralegal, librarian, and church secretary. She lives in West Virginia with her husband, children, a dog, and a rarely seen cat except by those who are afraid or allergic to felines.

Interview – Christina Freeburn
Where are you from?
I live in West Virginia but traveled around a lot as a kid (parent in the
military) so I don’t really feel like I come/am from a certain place.
Tell us your latest news?
In writing news, Altered to Death is the most recent title in the Scrap
This series (released November 28). I had a short story published in the Cookin’ Up Crime
anthology which features stories by fourteen other fabulous authors. And, I’m currently writing a
book with a new character that I hope will be a new series. Other news, my husband and I have
been married for 27 years and our planning on celebrating with a trip that we are delaying until
after the bathroom renovation is complete.
When and why did you begin writing?
I was in the ninth grade when I started writing. I had
always been a voracious reader since the age of four but never thought of writing. Honestly, I
hated it. I dreaded all writing assignments. A friend suggested we write a romance book (we both
read the First Love From Silhouette, Sweet Dreams, etc.) to pass the time on the thirty-minute
bus ride to school. Once I started writing fiction, I loved it and knew that was what I wanted to
do.
When did you first consider yourself a writer?
When I actively started working on getting a
book a published (learning more about the process of writing and getting published, honing my
skills, learning what I could of the ins and outs of the business, joining a critique group).
What inspired you to write your first book?
The first book I wrote (part long hand, part typing
and printed on a dot matrix printer) was a teenage romance book. At that time of my life, writing
was an escape for me and allowed me to “live” in the world that I wished I had and have the type
of life and adventures that I only dreamed about.
Do you have a specific writing style?
I don’t think so. When I write mysteries, I prefer first
person and for romantic suspense I use third-person point of view.
How did you come up with the title?
Titles are usually based on the theme of the story. In the
Scrap This series, the first word is the keyword/theme of the book.
Is there a message in your novel that you want readers to grasp?
That the truth one has
always known but not be the actual truth
What would you like my readers to know?
I appreciate them taking their time to learn more
about me and my work. I strive really hard to create a story I love to write and one readers would
love to read. I want the books to be as much about them having a pleasurable reading experience
as I do enjoying what I write. Readers are the heart of the publishing industry and without them

there wouldn’t be any need for books or authors.
