Bestselling author Max Lucado has teamed up with six authors to write the Pocket Prayers series for those in need of peace, renewal, rest, faith, hope, joy, direction, serenity, and courage.
Short, simple prayers are very effective, which is why each book in the series contains forty guided prayers and complementary scriptures for any situation, including for:

—Grads (written with daughter Andrea Lucado)
—Dads (written with Mark Mynheir)

 My review:
These are great books for anyone really. I loved that they were easy to carry in my purse. The prayers inside are easy to understand and are actually really meaningful, even though they are quite simple. I was very impressed with how encouraging and positive the messages were. I will be giving one to my mother in law who just had surgery and was in the hospital for a week. I might give her  the graduates one as well to read because it is for hope and direction. Actually even though these books are for specific people they are meant to bring courage, peace, faith, joy and renewal. These are things that everyone could use more of in their lives. I am giving these books a 5/5. I was given copies to review, however all opinions are my own,
