Ace of Diamonds $50 Giveaway!

Since his release from prison, Brookstone’s most notorious drug lord, Jay Santiago, has been hard at work rebuilding his life and empire. With two businesses under his belt and one in the making, Jay is readily known as one of New York’s elite men.

While the root of his financial status lies in the newly rebuilt Santiago cartel, Jay is determined to expand his wealth. After reconnecting with an old comrade, he believes that he has found the one thing that could increase his fortune and allow him to leave behind the dangers of his criminal enterprise for good.

However, as Jay’s new business venture begins to come to fruition, he quickly learns that the one material object that he loves the most could lead to his biggest downfall yet.

  1. Thank you so much for hosting again! This is my last official tour stop on the Blurb Blitz Tour and it saddens me to part ways! I've had a blast on this tour!

  2. How much of the seediness of the drug business is presented in the book? That's a bit out of my interest area. Did you have to do a lot of research for that angle?

  3. Well, Catherine, if we're actually talking about actual drug deals, it is more "told" than show." If you're wondering about the violence, which comes with the biz, than there is a lot of murder in the book. I didn't need a lot of research for that angle because my main male character is looking to break out the biz. If anything, I read a lot of books based off some major cartels, watched documentaries and put my little spin on things.

  4. Hi again Vogue!! One last question before you go!! Do you have any personal experiences that are reflected in situations in the book? I'm always curious about authors who've lived parts of their characters lives

  5. In this particular book, one of the characters experience the loss of a parent. Both of my parents are deceased so I drew from that experience for the scene.

  6. On my wishlist! Cant wait to read this one!

  7. Wow looks like a really great book!
