About the Author

Amy Vastine has been plotting stories in her head for as long as she can remember. An eternal optimist, she studied social work, hoping to teach others how to find their silver lining. Now, she enjoys creating happily ever afters for all to read. Amy lives outside Chicago with her high school sweetheart husband, three teenagers who keep her on her toes, and their two sweet but mischievous pups.

My Review:
This is one of those stories where you want the bad guy to get caught early on, so you can read about the main characters. I wanted Kelly to stop fighting Donovan's help so much. She was naive at times, and I thought that she was being stupid with her life. Is a promotion really that important? To some people it is. I really liked Donovan's love for his niece and nephew, and I enjoyed watching Kelly fall in love with the whole family. Even though she did not realize it. At the end of the book I was surprised who the stalker was, but not really. I should have seen it coming. I also hoped that Kelly and Donovan could raise the kids and be one big happy family. However they are both stubborn. I am giving this book a 4/5. I was given a copy. All opinions are my own.
