This book was so great and sad at times there were times I wanted to reach into the book and tell Emma it would be ok. It was a great mystery and adventure to go on.

Interview
Where are you from?
I’m from Nicholasville, Kentucky.
Tell us your latest
news? I’m excited that the sixth book in my Ghostly Southern Mystery Series has
just been released! Six!!
When and why did you
begin writing? About ten years ago I started to write my first book because
reading has really helped me escape from everyday life and I wanted to do that
for people.
When did you first
consider yourself a writer? After I made the USA Today bestseller list….I
know…years later did I finally think I was a writer.
What inspired you to
write your first book? My husband. He encouraged me to write a great story
because he thinks I can tell a great story. Well let me tell you, telling a
great story is vastly different than writing one.
Do you have a
specific writing style? I write mystery, so I write backwards. Mysteries are
written backwards. Think about that. I know the end…murder and that’s how it
starts out. I’ve got it all figured out, the who/what/when/why they murdered or
were murdered. Then I just sit down and write it.
How did you come up
with the title? The series always starts out with A Ghostly…and Mortality is
just another dead/murdered/death word that fit.
Is there a message in
your novel that you want readers to grasp? I want my readers to laugh, cry and
have a fun mystery to boot!
