Janine Mendenhall teaches teens English, of all things! Sometimes she sleeps, but most nights she reads, writes, or watches movies like “Pride and Prejudice” and claims she’s researching her next book. “Splickety Love” and “Splickety Prime” have published her flash fiction. She and her husband, Tom, live in North Carolina where they and their two golden retrievers help gratify the needs of their five children and two cats.

My review:
Miss Annette Chetwynd has been assaulted and now she she will never be the same person that  she once was. The nightmares will not go away. Will she ever know who helped her when she needed it? Mr. Peter Adsley needs to find a wife that will help him when he starts a new life as a in the clergy. This story is full of hope, romance and love. But it also has some suspense. Will Peter be able to help her? Will she be able to let herself move forward, or will she be caught in the past? I give this book a 4/5. I was given this book by Litfuse Publicity Group and these are my opinions.
