Book Description:
Morgan Wright has just been dumped by the biggest jerk in the world. All she wants to do is sulk in bed while devouring all the ice cream on campus, but her friend has a different plan to cheer her up—break into a secret all-boys university.

According to rumor, the school trains sorcerers who are crazy good in bed. Even though Morgan’s never had an orgasm, she’s not interested in anything more than an adventure. But when cape-wearing guard, Edric stops them at the wall, Morgan finds herself drawn in by his syrupy sweet smell.

There’s only one small problem, the sorcerers at this school take their vow of celibacy seriously. But Morgan can’t stay away, and as Edric tests the limits of his vow, magic-fueled orgasms may change everything.

Excerpt:

His grip tightens and he lifts me off the ground. He’s literally holding me up by my upper arms. Now I’m scared. I let out a little squeak. My breath comes in rapid pants.
“I’m going to carry you out of here.”
I nod, shivering in his grasp. I’d agree to walk, but I don’t really want him to let go of me. Part of me likes that he’s probably leaving bruises on my arms.
His nostrils flare again. “And stop breathing,” he commands.
“I’m pretty sure I can’t do that.”

Interview
Where are you from? Maine (US)
Tell us your latest news? My steamy adult debut, Sex and Sorcery is finally out!
When and why did you begin writing?
I began writing when I was a little girl. One of my first big successes was about the escapades of my grandmother’s ill behaved dog. Fifty pages handwritten, I was in sixth grade.
When did you first consider yourself a writer?
I had written four books before I got an agent. I think I started considering myself a writer at that point. Sex and Sorcery is my seventh book, but the first adult title I’ve published.
What inspired you to write your first book? A dream about moon goddesses.
Do you have a specific writing style? 1st person present.
How did you come up with the title?
It’s my brilliantly descriptive title. Sex and Sorcery is a good description of the plot to come.
Is there a message in your novel that you want readers to grasp?
I want my readers to be happy and feel sexy. No big messages—just books that are fun to read.
How much of the book is realistic?
0%, No I’m just kidding. It’s paranormal so there are many imaginative details. But I always make sure the characters get enough foreplay to make the orgasms believable. And I feed people. No one goes hungry in my books.
Are experiences based on someone you know, or events in your own life?
My husband is pretty great in bed, but he doesn’t have all those sorcerer special tricks.
What books have most influenced your life most? Laurell K. Hamilton’s Anita Blake series.
If you had to choose, which writer would you consider a mentor?
I have two crit partners who are both brilliant writers, Angie Sandro and Carla Rehse. I’ve learned a ton from them over the years.
What book are you reading now? Never Sweeter by Charlotte Stein
Are there any new authors that have grasped your interest? I just finished Ancient Magic by Lindsey Hall and I really loved it.
What are your current projects?
I’m working on Sex Magic #2. The title is still secret, but I will say it’s the best thing I’ve written yet. SO HOT!
