We were so Excited to see The Greatest Show on Earth! We were waiting to see some old favorites like the canon and some new acts like the camels. I also won a back stage VIP tour. All I can say about the tour was wow. WOW! It was truly amazing to see how much is going on. To learn about how they travel and live adds an extra level of appreciation to their stunts, The electronic aspects of the circus are much more involved then I ever imagined. The lighting and and music are the most obvious, but are only just the beginning.
Before the show you can go visit the animals. This has to be one of the most beautiful animals that I have ever seen. There was also a playful tiger that I could tell was young!
First time that I have seen a camel this close up!
This is part of the tour. This is one of the costumes that is in the show. This picture does not do it justice. It is full of sequins and amazing. We got to meet the head of costumes and learn how the whole process works. As a sewer and crafter it was interesting to learn how they travel and mend on site.
The kids also got to try on costumes that are from previous years!
We got to see the props area as well. These were actual props that were later used in the show.
This is our group standing in front of the famous canon!
This is such a great photo to have, and this is a boat that they actually use in the show. The front changes for different parts of the show.
There is so much to see, that I always feel like I could watch it over and over and still miss stuff.
The camels were fun to watch, and the acrobatics on them.
The Danguir High Wire Troupe was right in front of us! The acts that these guys did on a tight rope are one that I could not even do on a flat surface!
Two people high!
3 people high !!
It is fun to watch the lifts and clowns!
The Mongolian Marvels are contortionists and strongmen that have a human pyramid that has to be seen in person.
Here comes the canon!
This is the boat that we were on earlier!
This guy always amazes me. He jumps rope and jumps high in the air.
The Art On Trampoline troupe is like watching the Olympics for gymnastics, only it is also free style.

This is a great opportunity. I highly recommend it for people of all ages.
