This anthology was written solely for the purpose of raising money for the DM Currier Foundation for Peripartum Cardiomyopathy Research. For more information, you can visit savethemamas.org.

To stop a zombie plague, Snow White will need to kill the evil Queen before the last apple falls.

When Veronica Chapman falls into a coma in a horrific car accident, Trigg Chapman has the second chance to rekindle their rocky romance once upon a dream.

A princess cursed, a blind man kidnapped, and The Beast who threatens their happiness.

Aria inherited a century-long battle among the merfolk nations along with the crown, but a tenacious human looking for restitution could change everything.

A sapling of a dying magical tree desires revenge before the flames turn to love and grant Pinocchia her one wish—to be a real girl.

A princess becomes a pauper, but then must fight to save her kingdom.

Leukemia may have stolen Rapunzel's hair but not her dreams.

When Grandma becomes the latest victim in a string of murders, the wolf just might have to be the hero.

Rumpelstilstkin is not the only criminal in the kingdom.

At the stroke of midnight the spell will break, but there's no proof that it's true love.

True Love's Kiss - Jill Cooper (Snow White)

The Only Chance - Magan Vernon (Sleeping Beauty)

Please tell us about yourself using 3 adjectives, 1 quirk and a pop culture addiction

Adjectives:  Flighty. Funny. Friendly.

1 Quirk:  I hate pickles. Like HATE. If one touches my food, I won't eat my food.

Pop Culture Addiction:  Um, does Ryan Lochte count? Because I would make that man my pool boy.

Otherwise, I’m addicted to Law and Order: SVU I can’t not watch it when it’s on and I named my oldest daughter after Olivia Benson.

How do you come up with character names?  How do you come up with novel titles?

A lot of my main character names came from what I wanted to name my children, then I had two girls so all boy names were thrown out the window and my husband hated almost every name I picked. For side characters, usually I scroll through Facebook.

Novel titles? Usually I listen to music or have TV on in the background while I write, so I’ll listen to something and it’ll spark a title

Do you have any advice for anyone that would like to be an author?

It’s not a race. Seriously. You may have that first book done and ready to publish, but first concentrate on honing your skills, even finish a series. Do your research and meet other industry people through book signings or online groups. By the time you’re ready to either self-publish or query, you’ll have made a lot of contacts and have a back list built up.

What is your favorite fairy tale? What do you love about it?

Oh goodness. I hate to say it, but Cinderella. I love a good underdog story and she’s the ultimate underdog.

Tell us something people might be surprised to learn about you-

I don’t read books. I listen. No, seriously. I’m a big audio book listener and very rarely ever actually sit and read an ebook or paperback.

About the Author-
Magan Vernon has been living off of reader tears since she wrote her first short story in 2004. She now spends her time killing off fictional characters, pretending to plot while she really just watches Netflix, and she tries to do this all while her two young children run amuck around her Texas ranch.
