This is a really great story for kids. It has a great world that kids can escape to. There are halflings and curses and myths. There is definitely no lack for imagination. The author is only 14! I think that this gives her insight to other kids that adults just don't get. There are also parts where the reader questions right from wrong, and I even thought about if stealing is ever right. I am giving this book a 4/5. I was given a copy to review, however all opinions are my own.
