Fed up with her comfortable and dull-to-boredom life, Liv takes the bravest leap, leaving it all behind. Unfortunately the crux of her issues – her entrenched, well-kept emotional guard – tags along for the ride. With the spirit of change burning from every pore and a determined plan to break free from her self-oppressed lifestyle to enjoy life’s simplest pleasures, she moves half way across the globe to a peaceful Spanish coastal town. With an aim to feel whole again, liberated and happy by herself, Liv begins her journey while maintaining weekly-cyber therapy sessions with her long time, questionable shrink. As Liv finally begins to enjoy her new life and experience the varied goods the exotic country has to offer, a sudden major turn leads Liv to be swept into the most tantalizing roller coaster of her life. A turn that leaves her questioning everything she thought was right. THIS IS A STAND-ALONE NOVEL. Due to strong language and sexual content, this book is not intended for readers under the age of 18.

Author Interview
  1. In five words, please describe your ‘Romance Writing Style’.
Descriptive, vivid, emotional, sarcastic at times, and realistic.
  1. What do you do in your down time?
Two of my most preferred mellowing out activities are bubble-baths and driving alone in my car with loud music on in the background. What's more, these two activities have also proven to be my most inspirational times.
  1. What's the weirdest thing you've Googled?
Oh God, that would have to be some, ahem, research for Leaving Me Behind. “Weirdest sex toys” – let’s just say I don’t think I’ll ever be the same.
  1. Which actor/actress would you like to see play the lead character from your most recent book?
For Liv’s part, Scarlet Johansson, definitely Scarlet. She looks exactly like I see Liv in my mind’s eye. Her beauty and sass are Liv. As for Sebastian’s part, the only person I have in mind is a model, Tyson Ballou.
  1. What is your favorite line from any of your books?
That would be a line from Layers. “In the comfort of my room, in front of god, myself, and my immaculate collection of shoes, I declare tonight the swan song of my sordid lifestyle. No more. I am not marching on that path, ever again.”
  1. What book/s are you reading at present?
Big Little Lies by Liane Moriarty.
  1. Are you character/story builder or an outliner or some other method?
Definitely characters. For me, it really all comes down to creating characters that my readers will miss when they turn the final page. If I’m writing a love story, for example, then I have to feel the emotions brimming off the page, I need it to feel genuine. Have a story/characters that my readers will be so invested in, they won’t be able to put it down.
  1. Would you say becoming an author has changed you? In what way?
Yes, it did. It made me a happier person. I absolutely love writing.
