What they say: Welcome back to Tippermere for the wedding of the year… Scatty but loveable Lottie Brinkley is famous throughout the village for her disorganised personality so when she steps up to plan the perfect wedding the only likely outcome is disaster. When her globetrotting, love cheat of an ex, Todd, literally crashes the wedding on a not-so-noble steed, things definitely look set to take a turn for the scandalous. As rumours of why he’s back spread through the village quicker than the stable girl can drop her knickers, is Lottie's future with sexy eventer Rory Steel about to fall at the next fence? With a wave of unexpected pregnancies, steamy shenanigans in the hay and a farrier with more than shoeing horses on his mind, will Lottie ever be ready to take on the coveted title of Lady of the Manor and restore the Estate to its former glory? As the heart of the village, Tipping House Estate, makes its move into the 21st Century, pulses start to race in a novel packed full of charm, hunky stallions (the guys that is), and a daring plan that just has to succeed… A must read for fans of Fiona Walker, Tilly Bagshawe and Jo Carnegie!

Excerpt
The thing was, Lottie did love Tipping House, and she happened to like it just the way it was, in all its slightly shabby splendour. The ancient scratched oak floorboards told tales of a hundred Labradors wagging their tales after a good day out, and of scores of ladies in high heels calling in for sherry or afternoon tea. Hair-covered chair covers that had a musty smell and slightly singed rugs in the snug told of winter days when cold children would rush in from the grounds, discard their wellingtons and curl up with the dogs, roasting chestnuts and heating sticky marshmallows in the large open fireplace until they oozed sugary sweetness tinged with smoke. The fact that the wobbly Chippendale writing desk, which showed signs of teething puppies on its legs, a chip in the corner and a scratched top, but was the real deal, and that the Chesterfield oxblood sofa was ‘distressed’ through years of wear and not some artificial manufacturing process made it home. It felt like home, smelled like home, wrapped itself around you, even though the central-heating pipes gargled alarmingly and the cold permeated the thick walls all year round. In fact, Lottie was convinced the house was often colder in than out. When Samantha, in her well-meaning way, talked about bringing some glamour in, Lottie was very afraid that it would mean transforming the ballroom into something that resembled one of the chic wine bars of Kitterly Heath. Or worse. She could just imagine her ancestors, who adorned the walls larger than life, looking down their aristocratic noses at the revelry and wondering what it had come to. She knew full well that she had to raise some money before the rising damp rose high enough to meet the seepage of rain coming in through the roof, but she wasn’t entirely convinced that her gran meant she should sell her body to the highest bidder and fill the place with film stars, rock stars and footballers’ wives. But would she let everybody down if she didn’t?
