I love a great mystery. Especially when I have to wait to find out all the facts. This book did just that. I was wondering so many things. Are they related, did the person that confessed lie? Was Pleasant's father ever going to learn? There was so much to this story. The plot was well intertwined with the characters. The characters has so many different layers, that as soon as one layer was unpeeled another submerged. I really liked the end, and I could see the leaves turning yellow. I am giving this book a 4/5. I was given a copy to review, however all opinions are my own.
