Book Description:
As beta female of the Blake
Pride, Amilynn does whatever it takes to get the job done and guard her
family—even if it might not be morally sound. Now that the Pride has moved in
with the Blackburn Pack, she faces a threat she never saw coming…a mate. The
sexy and persistent wolf wants to claim the leopardess, but she’s not going
down without a fight.
Ezekiel is used to getting what
he wants and his eyes are set on his seductive target. Yet predicting Amilynn’s
next move is fruitless. He’s caught between admiring her strength and resenting
it. Does he dominate or submit? Can he prove to Amilynn she really is worth the
fight?
When a ghost from Amilynn’s past
stalks their family, Ezekiel will learn her true strength. Amilynn isn’t a
docile house cat and, by the time she’s done, everyone will know it.

About
the Author:
JoAnna Grace lives in a world of
alpha males and strong females where true love conquers all—at least in her
mind!
From the time she started holding
a crayon she began to create magical worlds. Her first book was a series of
pictures about a puppy princess. The story changed each time she told it, but there
was always a happy ending! Her first written story was about girls who changed
into tigers.
Now those stories have become a
bit more complex!
JoAnna’s tales are spun at her
home in East Texas where she lives with her husband, three kids, and a couple
dogs. When not hiding behind the computer screen you can find her camping,
boating, and shopping.

Interview
Where are you from? Hey there!
Thank you for hosting me today! I’m from a small town in East Texas. I’ve lived
here my entire life and no matter where the future takes me, this will always
be home.
Tell us your latest news? My latest release is BREAK HER FALL,
book 2 in the Blake Pride Series. I love, love, love this book. It’s one of my
favorites so far. The heroine, Amilynn, is a riot.
When and why did you begin writing? I’ve always
been a writer at heart, but I was taught to get a “sensible” job, so I had
brief but educational experiences in real estate and at my local Chamber of
Commerce. I’ve also worked with/for my husband for the last 13 years. We’ve
been married for 11 ½- so do the math! wink
wink! I’ve always had a story to tell. Everywhere I go I get inspired. It was either write or take medication for
the voices in my head.
When did you first consider yourself a writer? Always! But
the validation came with my first email from a reader who wasn’t related.
Knowing someone who didn’t share my DNA actually loved the book was pretty
cool.
What inspired you to write your first book? I’ve always
sought out writing to unwind after my day jobs. I wrote while I was in high
school, I made picture books as a kid. It’s always been a part of me but it
wasn’t until a couple years ago that I really decided it was time to pursue it
as a career. My first completed novel was total self-indulgent crap, so I put
it aside and started the first book of The Divine Chronicles after a crazy dream
about being kidnapped and rescued. I’ve been churning out books ever since.
Do you have a specific writing style? I would say my
style is romantic and dramatic with a flare of humor. I try to keep characters
around that break up the rush with laughter.
How did you come up with the title? I’m not great
at titles, but I knew with the Blake Pride that I wanted them to reflect
falling in love. So each title has the word Fall in it. Pride Before the Fall,
Break Her Fall, and Conall’s book (coming next!) is The Harder They Fall.
Is there a message in your novel that you want
readers to grasp? I hope that every reader understands the concept of redemption, especially
with the Blake Pride Series. These characters are all in need of second
chances. In Ami’s case it’s more like fourth and fifth chances.
How much of the book is realistic? Not much! It’s
not based on my personal experiences—I’ve never been a hooker or a stripper,
just for the record. And as much as I think it would be freaking awesome, I
don’t shift. Dang it!
Are experiences based on someone you know, or events
in your own life? I kind of felt like an idiot when I realized I named Ami and Ty after a
brother & sister that I know. Those names sounded natural together and it
wasn’t until after the first book was published that I realized why those two
fit together in my mind. I definitely do NOT think about my friends when I
write the characters. LOL. Blonde moment.
What books have most influenced your life most? The Twilight
Saga brought me back to reading. I had been so busy with “life” that I hadn’t
picked up a book in a few years. But once I read those books it seemed to be
the catalyst I needed to dive back into reading and my first love, writing.
When I found Nalini Singh, I became obsessed. I want to be her when I grow up.
If you had to choose, which writer would you
consider a mentor? Catherine Spangler has been a great friend and source of
encouragement. She’s an amazing author! Her books were some of the first
paranormal romance I read. Loved them. Carol Braswell is a local author who I
consider a mentor as well. Honestly, I’m surrounded by amazing mentors. I try
to learn from everyone I meet! Good or bad, every person can teach you a
lesson.
What book are you reading now? I’ve been
computerless for a week so I’ve been reading more than usual. Molly Harper,
Pamela Palmer, and Vicky Lewis Thompson have all gone to bed with me recently
;)
Are there any new authors that have grasped your
interest? How much time do you have? LOL! I would be doing many author an injustice
if I forgot them, so I’ll say this: GO READ INDIES!!!! Indie authors need
support like crazy. If you read a book, review it! Contact the author, shout
your love from the mountaintops! We need it!
What are your current projects? Right now I’m
rushing to get Conall’s book done. He’s really speaking to me after the events
of BREAK HER FALL, and I hope to have his book completed in a couple months.
What would you like my readers to know? I repeat:
GO READ
INDIES!!!! Indie authors need support like crazy. If you read a book, review
