There is a serial killer running rampant on the streets of Los Angeles, torturing and killing young women on a whim. Detective Nick Ryan is determined to stop this depravity, just as he succeeded in Afghanistan when he was a Navy SEAL. In his hunt for this elusive killer, he crosses paths with the beautiful Claire Hunt and their attraction can’t be denied. Their sensual feelings for each other reaches a white hot climax just as the hunt for the killer takes a turn into insanity as they discover Claire is playing a much bigger role in this macabre play than anyone would ever have guessed. Follow these lovers down the rabbit hole to discover who the murderer is and who is involved in this lunacy.
Review:
This is definitely a thriller. The killer's thoughts were not fun ones to read about. It was also hard to guess who the killer was. Then there is Claire, and her role in the killer's plot. Nick was a man in love and he fell hard for Claire. It was interesting to read the ending and to see how the author had everything fall into place. Claire's version of love might not be the same as the killers. I am giving this book a 4/5. I was given a copy to review, however all opinions are my own.
