Eternal Destiny
Diamond Peak Series Book #4
By- Tahlia Newland
Genre- YA Fantasy
Ariel and Nick face their deepest fears and their greatest challenge as they search for the Master Demon who holds the key to the future of mankind. Slay him and the world goes free; fail, and it falls irrevocably into violence and chaos.
Guided by a wisdom master of a mystical tradition that uses mind power as the basis of powerful magic, the assault party travels from the ancient granite walls of the Hermitage, up the Steps of Death, and through a labyrinth of shifting gorges to the Palace of Skulls. Even if Nick wins his struggle with the scars of his past and defeats the green-eyed head of the Cogin clan, they still must cross the scree slope, where the bones of Ariel's father lie, to get to the ice caves beneath the summit where the Master Demon awaits.
The journey is extraordinary, the enemies are deadly and the ending is mind-blowing.

What are your current projects?
My new book is coming out at the end of November with AIA
Publishing. It’s called Prunella Smith:
Worlds Within Worlds and it’s an adul’t title.. It’s a metaphysical thriller with a cyber bullying theme, about
an author/editor/reviewer who is stalked by a disgruntled author. The concept
is really interesting: I weave different ‘worlds’ that Prunella (Ella) inhabits
together, so that what happens in one reflects and informs what happens in the
others. So we have the fantasy world of the book she is editing, her physical
world that she shares with her cat (there’s a touch of romance there as well),
her online world, her dream world, the world of her memories and her meditative
experience. It’s a really different book.
Name one entity that you feel supported you outside of family
members.

Do you see writing as a career?
For me it is. For many it has to remain a hobby for various
reasons, but I’m an editor by trade, so it goes hand in hand with that.
If you had to do it all over again, would you change anything
in your latest book?
Not in World Within Worlds. I did just rewrite the end, but
that’s okay because it hasn’t been published yet. In the Diamond Peak Series? I
don’t think so, I’d just write the first book better. I was a much better
writer by the time I got to book 4.
Do you recall how your interest in writing originated?
In high school when we did creative writing, I discovered that
I was able to write in a very evocative way. People still say that about my
writing. It’s very visually stimulating. That could be because I see them like
movies in my head when I write them.
What would you like to tell my readers?
If you ever read a book that you like, tell your friends all
about it and leave a review at your point of purchase because authors love to
hear from you, and also reviews are really important to authors to help them
find readers who will most enjoy their books. There are so many books out
there, that it’s hard for authors to find their readers, unless their readers
talk about the books to their friends.
