Awakening Book One of The Trust Series by J. E. Swift Book Review & Giveaway

Book Information:
Book Published: January 19, 2013
Length of Book: 272 pages
Book Blurb: Caitlyn Young has no immediate plans after college, but that doesn’t mean others, specifically elite tech firm Trust Corporation do not have plans for her. When recruiter Garrett Stevens expresses interest in the graduate student, she believes it romantically, since she has no marketable skills that his company could be possibility be interested in.

She is half right.

Caitlyn has something far more important than marketable skills- she has the proper DNA they want and that DNA, which had lain dormant for years, is about to activate.

When it does and Caitlyn awakens, the result is beyond what anyone could hope. Caitlyn finds herself being wooed by many in a secret society who would like to use her for their own devices, including Declan McPherson, a prodigy himself who understands exactly what she is going through.

When it becomes clear that not everyone is who they appear to be and those betrayals lead back to a rogue faction, Caitlyn must decide on who she can trust and who she can forgive.

My review;
Caitlyn Young is a young woman who is wanted by people in a secret society. These have been waiting for her, for her DNA that is. This is the story of her understanding who she really is and getting over her past. She must be very careful because some of those around her are not really being truthful with her. She must figure this out and decide where to go from here. I give this book a 4/5. I was given this book for the purpose of a review and all opinions are my own.

  1. How much research have you done on DNA? Do you like that it is used in genealogy research now a days? I only ask because genealogy is my hobby. I use Ancestry almost every day!
