Ocean Beach Park in New London CT Review & giveaway

I LOVE Ocean Beach! Not only is this a great memory from when I was little with my siblings, but it is now a great memory with my niece and nephew!

We asked Sissy where she wanted to go this year for her birthday, and she said Ocean Beach! So we went on her birthday, and Duders got sick the night before. He told Sissy to go on her birthday. This is a video of her and daddy having fun!

This is Sissy and my uncle Didi. She wanted to get shells this time! We all had to try to find some!

Daddy did not want to get out of the water! My brother in law is a dolphins fan, and he loves the water!

This is the clam boat my hubby had for lunch!

This is the Chicken I had for lunch! The prices are so reasonable, and they have different places you can sit and eat.

Sissy could not wait to go play. She loves that Ocean Beach has all different things for her to do.

This is how she wanted to check her height! She is getting so tall!

This is daddy pushing her. She has a swing at home, but not a big girl swing like this one!

We were not allowed to leave unless she got 2 rides on the carousel!

There are so many great rides for the kiddos, and this is Duders favorite. Sissy went on it for him! There is a real track, and a train whistle! It is like a real Train depot.

This is the boardwalk! I love that it is open and you can see the water from all sides.

Hubby wanted a fried dough! Yum! Ocean Beach is like a carnival, water park, arcade, amusement park, and beach all in one! All fun for kids!

This is the hole that I got a hole in one!!!!! Sissy loves to go miniature golfing. Uncle Didi taught her how to play and hold the club.

This is Sissy and I! I love taking yearly pictures here to see how the kiddos grew!

Sissy was having so much fun! My grandparents were there too. She is blessed to have her great uncle, and great grandparents playing miniature golf with her.

These are the tickets I won!!! The staff at the arcade was very helpful and nice.

Last year Sissy yelled when she got wet. This year she could not wait to get soaked!

This year my hubby and I decided to wait and watch the fireworks! There was also gong to be a live band, and a parade!

The flag is the beginning of the parade, and all the kids participating got a prize! I love that this place is for kids, no matter what they like to do.

ELMO!!!!! I wanted to go in the parade and be in a picture with Elmo!

 

This are videos of the band! I knew the songs and could not help singing along. They were great!

There is an area set up for the band, so you can sit on the beach and listen, or you can dance right near the stage! 

I have never read on the beach, and now I understand what beach reads are! It was so peaceful and calm. Hearing the waves with a nice cool breeze was the perfect setting to relax and escape in a good book. 

This is hubby and I waiting for the fireworks!

WOW. The fireworks were the closest fireworks I have ever seen. These were not the fireworks that my dad did in the backyard either, these were impressive. There was even a few that made smiley faces in the sky and it brought a smile to my face. It was like my dad was smiling down from heaven.

This is a video of the fireworks! I want to go back again. Every night. The staff is amazing, and everyone is so nice. The place is always clean and you can ask any one for help. I  am giving the staff a 5/5, the attractions a 5/5, the food a 5/5, the cleanliness a 5/5, and kid friendliness a 5/5. Overall I can not think of a better choice to spend Sissy's birthday party. I would like to thank the great staff at Ocean Beach for giving us the opportunity to visit their great park in exchange for an honest review!
