Genre: Humor, EntertainmentHow to Make It in Hollywood: The Inside Story is an often funny, always enlightening insider’s view on how to break into the world of show business and navigate its shark-infested waters.
Filled with anecdotal “war stories” of working with Academy-award winning talent, each short chapter explains a rule to follow to “make it” in Hollywood, from ” It’s All About Passion” to “Good Ideas Don’t Just Fall Off a Turnip Truck,” Humility is a Highly Over-rated Virtue” and much, much more.
It is a contemporary view of the roller coaster ride that is show business that will instruct and entertain the multitudes who can t get enough of Entertainment Tonight s behind-the-scenes look at the politics of the music, acting, comedy, television, and movie businesses.

My Review:
This was hysterical. I loved that the chapters were 32 rules to follow in show business. There were some obvious rules, treat your film crew like your family, and then there were some that I never thought of like when you are filming in a foreign location you are indeed the foreigner. You know whenever Chevy Chase is mentioned that there will be laughs. The book also mentions Leslie Nielsen  in "Spy Hard". This book is an insightful look into a business I know nothing about. It is great for people that want to pitch a movie, or work in Hollywood. I am giving this book a 4/5. I was given a copy to review from Book Review Buzz, however all opinions are my own.
