How far would you go to destroy yourself?

Krishani always knew he would have to go to the Lands of Men, but he never thought it would be like this. Enemies everywhere, an ancestor he can't respect, elders he can't trust, a curse he can't stop and friends he can't help but hate. Desperate to end the pain, he sets out on a quest to find the other Flames and face the enemy that took everything from him.

Interview
Are there any new authors that have grasped your interest?

Elizabeth Fama, who wrote Plus One, probably the best dystopian I have ever read.

What are your current projects?

I’m revamping one of my stories and turning it into a short story series with an unlimited number of books in it. I might do 3, I might do 12, I have no idea. The first book will hit the shelves again on June 5th and it’s called City of Cruelty and Copper. It centers around Fable the Immortal who lives in Temperance, a city found under the permafrost on Antarctica.

Name one entity that you feel supported you outside of family members.

My husband, who found me at a time in my life where I thought death was my best option. I’m really glad he forced me to get out of the house and do things.

Do you see writing as a career?

In some ways writing is still a refuge and a hobby for me. I tend to see everything as a business though and more often than not have turned my hobbies into businesses.

I also have to pay homage to my actual career as a Metaphysical Therapist. I have two PhD’s in the field and happen to know a lot about what goes bump in the night.

If you had to do it all over again, would you change anything in your latest book?

I actually had to change something crucial in City of Cruelty and Copper, but it was because I messed up in the timeline and had to fix it. I hope I succeeded in fixing the epic continuity error.

Do you recall how your interest in writing originated?

I was kicked out of English class in grade 6 for being too smart. They did aptitude tests and I scored too high so I was sent to the library with five other kids to do creative writing. I wrote a story about three sisters that had a very original title, I called it: The Three Sisters.
