Butterfly Stitching by Shermin Kruse Review

Disclosure: I got this product as part of an advertorial.

Terrifying Iranian secret police. An inspiring forbidden love. And the horrors of war. Butterfly Stitching weaves a stunning tapestry of the lives of Sahar and Samira, daughter and mother. And through the strength, beauty and imagination of these remarkable women, reveals Iran herself.

My Review:
This is a great read about three generations of women in Iran. The auhor really described the culture in a way that I have never read before. The idea of not picking your own spouse, having an affair and love are all in this book. I recommend this book to anyone that likes to read about other cultures, or about strong women that never give up on themselves. I am giving this book a 4/5. I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
