A Dead Game By Mira West Review

A Dead Game is based on true events of my experience in the casino, when it was influenced by the mob, and revolves around the kingpin of a drug cartel who was covertly operating from where I worked. A spellbinding romantic suspense that will captivate both men and women.
Prey to the wolves of the trade, Jasmine Woods discovers dealing blackjack at the Paradise Palace is a death defying challenge after meeting Frank Pazzarelli, the hotel manager. His snake-charming charisma and her hunger for love lures her into his world—a world of corruption that knows him as Kingpin and Warlord. Unaware of his double life, Jasmine is now an innocent target of an insidious rivalry. With no other option, Frank is forced to do whatever it takes to protect her, even deal with the devil. But when Jasmine finds out the devil is a woman, Frank would have rather burned in hell. Not until a gunshot rings out in the casino do the tables start to turn . . .
My Review:
This was an eye opener. I go to Foxwoods Casino and gamble, but I never really pay attention to my surroundings. I will try to pay more attention from now on. This book has it all. Drama, love, murder, thugs, and gambling. I liked the glossary of casino terms at the end of the book. There is a lot of character interaction in the book, and my favorite part was when the characters were reading newspaper articles, or when they read that coffee can lead to death. I am giving this book a 4/5.
