BIO:
I was born in Cape Town, South Africa. I’ve been married and divorced and had three lovely children.
Some might say I have gypsy blood as I’ve moved around a lot, but really I’ve used my teaching qualifications to teach in different countries and travel the world. I have one of those bucket list type of thingies – a list of things to do and places to go before I die. Before moving to Kyiv in Ukraine where I live currently, I lived and worked in Tanzania with armies of ants and frequent power cuts at the foot of Kilimanjaro
For some strange reason, things just seem to happen to me, and this gives me an endless supply of material to write more books. Writing is something I always loved to do from a very young age, and I’ve always been an avid reader. I put my weak eyesight down to all those nights of reading under the covers by torchlight. The teacher part of me will tell you that to be a good writer, you probably need to be a good reader as well. But, enough talk about work-related stuff.
Because of my travels, I enjoy writing articles about the places I’ve seen, sharing my trip with armchair travellers at home. My fist travel book is The Great Mountain to Mountain Safari, and is about my road trip from Kilimanjaro in Tanzania, to Table Mountain in South Africa and back again, with only my teenage daughter for company.
I believe that life is a series of adventures. Hope yours are all good!

My Review:
The cover really is a perfect fit for the ending of the book.  While this book dealt with a heinous crime, it was a good mystery. I did not guess the "doer" until the end. There was so much action that I could see the vases bouncing. The author gave a lot of personality to her characters and I could definitely relate to some more than others. I do not want to give anything away, but there is so much in this book. Abuse, mental illness (only way the answers make sense) and a mystery that really kept me involved. I am giving this book a 5/5. I was given a copy to review, however all opinions are my own.
