About Forever:
All I want is my happily-ever-after.
That's all I've wanted since meeting Noah Miller.
From the day we met, the world has tried to keep Noah and me from being together, but now that I'm carrying his child, no one will be able to tear us apart. Or so I hope. But Noah and I have made some mistakes along the way, and the consequences are impacting the people we love. Worse, there's a storm on the horizon, and it's sure to cause serious devastation.
If we can get through this, we'll finally be Rose and Noah; a family, forever.
But first we have to survive the road ahead. And happily-ever-after is a long way off
Temptation and Belonging
About Karen Ann Hopkins
A native of New York State, Karen Ann Hopkins now lives with her family on a farm in northern Kentucky, where her neighbors in all directions are members of a strict Amish community. Her unique perspective became the inspiration for the story of star-crossed lovers Rose and Noah. When she’s not homeschooling her kids, giving riding lessons or tending to a menagerie of horses, goats, peacocks, chickens, ducks, rabbits, dogs and cats, she is dreaming up her next romantic novel.

• Rose’s (or Karen’s) top 3 star-crossed couples (book, tv,
or film)
*That’s a hard one,
but I’d have to say my favorite star-crossed couples are Sookie Stackhouse and
Eric Northman, True Blood; Daenerys Targaryen and Khal Drogo, Game of Thrones;
Michelle Pfeiffer and Rutger Hauer in Lady Hawk.
• The unique challenges of writing the third and final book
in a trilogy
*Forever was the most
difficult book in the series to write.
There were expectations from readers for a certain kind of ending. Some readers wanted a happily-ever-after
finale, while others hoped that Rose would smarten up and run screaming from
Noah and his anti-feminist world. This
was also the first book I’ve written while under a hard deadline. I was a bit at a loss and intimidated at
first, but soon the story took a life of its own. Ultimately, I’m very pleased with Forever’s
ending.
• A selection of Karen’s favorite Noah and Rose moments
throughout the series
*In Temptation, I
really enjoyed writing the scenes of Rose and Noah sneaking off to go horse-back
riding together. They’re curiosity and infatuation easily
jumped onto the pages. Also, even though
it was a difficult scene for me as a horsewoman, I liked the challenge of
writing Noah’s buggy accident. Along
with the readers, I had tears in my eyes when Noah’s horse, Rumor took his last
breath. The scene in Belonging where
Rose, Summer and the Amish girls have a girls-night-out, running wild through
the woods, was a favorite of mine. In Forever, the most gripping scene I wrote
takes place about halfway through the book when a tornado strikes the
Meadowview Amish community. All the
characters are at risk and I jump between Rose, Noah, Sam and Sarah and their
own harrowing experiences during the storm.
It’s quite intense and to be honest, I wasn’t sure how I’d end the scene
until the wind stopped blowing.
I love to hear from
my readers! Please contact me on
Facebook with your thoughts on the series or any questions about the Amish you
may have. Thanks!
