My Review:
This was a short and fun mystery that took place in a real County. Door County is a real place and I would love to visit there one day. The book describes a beautiful landscape. This is also the first Annie Malone Cozy Mystery and I can not wait to see the new dilemmas that Annie finds herself in when new books come out. Annie is fed up with her job, which a lot of people can relate to, and she takes a job in Door County to be a ghostwriter. What I found interesting is that ghostwriters definitely have something to hide. It is no where close to the dangers that Annie finds herself in. People in Door County are definitely interested in keeping there secrets safe. I liked the way that the author had the characters talk through duck tape, and I could hear them talking in my head. This was fast paced and the ending was so surprising that I had to read the book twice to see if I missed any clues. This book had it all. Romance, danger and mystery. I am giving this book a 5/5. I was given a copy to review via the Kindle Book Review program, however all opinions are my own.
Here are some real pictures from Door County:
I am also able to giveaway a signed print copy to a lucky reader, thanks to the author. Please enter here:
I love Door County! I go up there every fall. I'd have to ask, what's the one thing in Door County that, in your opinion, cannot be missed for someone visiting?
