Courage to Change by elizabeth maddrey Review

My Review:
This was a really good book. I loved that Allison was an average woman, working an average job. She had a crush on a co-worker. Phil was my favorite character. He changed his life around, and became a better man. He still had a lot of issues, and kept doubting his worth. He was done with romance until he realized his feelings for Allison. He was not sure if he should act on them, ignore them, talk with his priest, or do nothing. What I also enjoyed about this book was that Allison and Phil both had a good support system. They were great characters and they also helped the less fortunate. Lindsey was a tough lady. She made mistakes, was grieving the loss of her mom, and was not getting along with her dad.
This book really dealt with the issues that a pregnant teen has to deal with. I liked that the author did not push her personal agenda, but rather she gave options, talked about pros and cons and let the reader fill in the blanks.
The ending was extremely good, and it was the perfect ending to the book. I want to read the first book "Wisdom to Know" because it told the story of characters that were in this book. Book 3 deals with a relative of Phil's that I hope gets a happily ever after!
I also want to mention that as a Christian I often forget to go to church every Sunday. This author talked about going to church, not just during Christmas, with loved ones.
I am giving this book a 5/5. I was given a copy to review from BookCrash, however all opinions are my own.
